What is Miley Cyrus’ net worth?
With a net worth of $160 million, Miley Cyrus stands out as an American singer, songwriter, actress, and philanthropist. Her journey began as a child actor and singer, eventually leading her to become a global sensation. Her music spans various genres, including pop, country pop, and hip hop.
Born Destiny Hope Cyrus into a family with deep roots in entertainment, she was influenced by her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, who became famous in the early 90s with his catchy country hit, “Achy Breaky Heart.” His successful career in country music both in the US and internationally paved the way for his acting endeavors. Naturally, when he and his wife welcomed their first child, it was expected that she would pursue a career in performance as well.
However, Miley surpassed her father’s fame, becoming a prominent figure through the wildly successful Disney series, “Hannah Montana,” which led to numerous lucrative ventures including tours, clothing lines, spin-off movies, toys, and more. As she transitioned from her “tween” persona to a more “adult” artist, she released her first studio album and focused on films and various other projects.

Early Life
On November 23, 1992, Destiny Hope Cyrus was born in Franklin, Tennessee, to Tish Finley and musician Billy Ray Cyrus. She was diagnosed with supraventricular tachycardia, a condition affecting her heart rate. Her parents named her Destiny Hope, believing she would achieve significant accomplishments. Nicknamed “Smiley” for her constant smiling as a baby, the name was eventually shortened to “Miley.” She officially changed her name to Miley Ray Cyrus in 2008.
At the age of eight in 2001, Cyrus and her family relocated to Toronto, Ontario, as her father worked on the TV show “Doc.” Following a visit to a production of “Mamma Mia!” that same year, Cyrus excitedly told her father, “This is what I want to do, Daddy. I want to be an actress.” This paved the way for her singing and acting lessons at the Armstrong Acting Studio in Toronto.
